You can only book these fares on cruises departing more than two or three months from the booking date. Carnival Cruise Line's affordable rates and plethora of U.S. departures means it attracts a lot of first-time cruisers. No matter how much research you do, it's hard to be completely prepared to step onto a ship for the first time. Note that the shorter Bermuda sailings can offer very little time in the country, sometimes as little as eight hours. You don't have to pay all at once

If you simply want a relaxing spot without all the people (or kids), this is it.
In general you’ll find the staff friendly and warm, always ready to share a smile or laugh at a joke. Choose a port day for your turn on the coaster, or book a spot on the first sea day, so you have time to rebook if the attraction closes before you can ride it. It's always safer to build in some buffer time by planning to arrive in your embarkation port city the day before your ship is scheduled to set sail. It's an added cost, for sure, but it means you'll be less stressed going into your cruise vacation. You might also be able to explore a little in town before you board.
Some longer Australia voyages add in stops at Port Douglas or Moreton Island. At least a couple of Carnival ships typically sail to Bermuda every year between May and October.
